Where To Find Live Music In Canggu, Bali
1. The Lawn
The Lawn is one of the most popular beach clubs to hang out at in Canggu. They have live music every single Sunday, and it’s usually free to enjoy the show.
See the lineup for their Sunday Music Series on their website. The music typically starts around 4pm and goes until after sunset.

2. Gimme Shelter
Gimme Shelter is a Rock & Roll bar in Canggu that regularly has live shows and open mic nights. This venue is really popular with locals and expats. Check their Instagram for show times and information.
The bar is open every day from 5pm until late, but live music typically starts around 8:30pm.

3. XBar Canggu
XBar is a fun bar with a hilarious backstory. There was a mini mart near Old Man’s (a popular bar in Canggu that is now closed) where people would pre-drink before going out. Someone took note of the popular mini mart and decided to put a bar in front of it.
People typically hang out at XBar for pre-drinks or towards the end of their night out. They regularly have live music and it’s a great spot to socialize and grab some cheap drinks.
Live music typically starts at 8pm and goes until late.

4. Little Havana
Little Havana is a brand new shot bar in Canggu with friendly staff and great vibes. They are open from 6pm until late, and they are a great spot for pre-drinks before heading to another party spot.
As far as I know, they don’t have live bands performing very often. But they do have a latin DJ playing on Wednesday nights. They also have a crazy deal for a cocktail and a tattoo for only 150,000 IDR ($10.30) on Wednesdays. The DJ starts playing at 8pm and goes until late at night.

5. Sand Bar
Sand Bar is a popular bar on the beach that has live music several nights a week. I highly recommend coming here for sunset drinks. The view is incredible and live music starts when the sunset starts!
As of May 2022, they are doing live music every Friday, Saturday, and Monday night. Be sure to check on their Instagram for updates.

6. Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina is one of the most popular bars in Canggu. It’s actually a chain of stores and cafes with many locations around the world.
They’re open from 12pm to 10pm every day of the week and they serve up coffee, food, drinks, and even tattoos. There are events every night, but Tuesday is the most popular night of the week to visit for tacos, tattoos, and live music.

7. The Shady Pig
The Shady Pig is a cocktail bar with a speakeasy feel. They offer a unique selection of homemade spirits and classic-style cocktails. Prices are a bit on the higher end for Canggu.
They have live jazz and blues music most nights of the week. The Shady Pig is open 6pm to 3am every night except Monday.

8. ORE STUDiO
ORE STUDiO is a karaoke bar and open mic venue in Canggu. Come here to show off your skills or just enjoy some live entertainment. They also offer bookings for parties and other private events.
They’re open every night from 6:00pm to 1:00am (karaoke stops at 11:00pm).
