Ahh, Bali! Despite the island’s small size, you have a lot of options when it comes to choosing a place to set up shop as a digital nomad. So, it says a lot that more and more remote workers are choosing Canggu to be their home base.
Canggu is on the south coast of Bali, and–let me tell you–it’s got it all. Surfing? Check. Nightlife? Yup. Tasty cuisine? Check!
But being a digital nomad isn’t all about play. Sometimes you’ve got to get down to business.

1. Outpost Canggu
When it’s time to get work done, Outpost Canggu has a spacious coworking area to do it. Memberships range from $13 day passes to $210 unlimited monthly passes.

2. Tropical Nomad
Open up your laptop on the balcony of Tropical Nomad and work with Canggu’s stunning nature as a backdrop.
Tropical Nomad has meeting rooms and personal booths available for anyone in need of a bit more privacy.

3. Dojo Bali
Head over to Dojo Bali for a lovely coworking hotspot that’s popular with young professionals. The facility is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Echo Beach and has a delicious cafe onsite.
Dojo Bali, like the other coworking spaces, is open 24/7, but its available hot showers make it one of the top places to work from in Canggu if you need to be online throughout the night.
When you finish work in the morning, hop in the shower and head to breakfast feeling refreshed and recharged.

4. Kinship Studio
Kinship studio is a stylish coworking space in an industrial-like building. Remote workers and artists will feel right at home in the open seating area and inspired by the massive mural.
It’s a great place to meet other creative minds and use the private rooms and photography studios.

5. Matra
Matra’s coworking space is up on the rooftop, where you’ll find a cafe and stunning views of the region.
Everything is set up for digital nomads to thrive with meeting rooms, speedy Wi-Fi, a communal kitchen, a gym, a pool, and other ultra-convenient amenities.
While it may not have a ton of trendy decor, it makes up for that with its incredibly cheap prices. You can get a day pass for around $6.50 to work at Matra.
It’s no surprise that of all the Canggu coworking options, loads of people choose Matra.

6. Miel Coffee Canggu
If you like natural lighting, you’ll love spending the day at Miel Coffee. The coffee shop itself is as aesthetically pleasing as a coffee shop can get.
It’s a great spot to get work done with plenty of tables, outlets, and great WiFi.

7. Secret Spot Canggu
Chill out at the Secret Spot when it’s time to take care of business. The cafe offers a nice and relaxed environment where you won’t have many distractions.
Don’t be afraid to treat yourself to a few of the tasty pastries available–you deserve it, after all!
8. Nude Canggu
Nude is one of the best places to work from in Canggu, with its good vibes and ample seating.
After working inside for a few hours, you can move to the covered outdoor section to breathe a little fresh air. Highly recommended!
And, yes, despite the name, clothes are required ;).
9. ZIN Cafe
One step into ZIN Cafe, and you’ll fall in love with the location. You’ll find four floors of seating to choose from, big, open windows, and a lightning-fast Wi-Fi connection.
And no need to rush out of there, because it stays open till 10pm every day!
If you need a change of scenery, ZIN has a coworking space right next to the cafe. Convenient, huh?
10. Crate Cafe
Crate Cafe might not be set up as well for digital nomads to get work done, but it’s still a wonderful spot to have a smoothie bowl and read through emails.
Just know that there aren’t many outlets, and the seats fill up. So, keep Crate Cafe as a place you go to when you have a light workday.
11. Amolas Cafe Canggu
The owners of Amolas Cafe had remote workers in mind when designing the establishment. There are plenty of outlets and comfy seats to settle into.
The airy layout creates a soothing work environment, and there’s even a pool you can jump in when it’s time to take a break!

Sit down at Cinta Cafe, order any of the to-die-for food options, and watch how good of a workday you’ll have.
The cafe has a wonderful ambiance you won’t get sick of, and the staff even provides you with free flavored water. Thoughtful, right?
13. Milu by Nook
The décor of Milu by Nook is on a completely different level! Hanging plants, walls covered in framed art, and a mesmerizing floor tile, it’s definitely not a dull place to chill and work.
A lovely outside seating section looks out on the green rice fields, making for a peaceful environment to get things done.
14. Satu-Satu Coffee Company
If you’re like me, coffee’s an important part of the workday, and Satu-Satu has some specialty coffee that’ll blow you away.
Top it off with low prices and a nice indoor seating area with A/C, and you’ve got yourself a great day ahead of you!
15. Doppio Cafe
Doppio Cafe is another affordable place to grab a delicious breakfast or brunch. You’re bound to see multiple people with laptops open, as the cafe has comfy seating and lots of outlets.
The cheap prices tend to draw in a lot of people, so Doppio Cafe isn’t the place if you need a quiet spot to work!
